Hearthstone VFX- Bigglesworth Mage Hero Power

I had the great luck and privilege of interning on Hearthstone over the last 6 months!
As a huge fan of cats, it was so wonderful to get to contribute to the Bigglesworth pet VFX. When equiped with Kel'Thuzad (for whom I also got to do VFX), the hero power is changed to be a custom one. No pet has had a hero power before, so working on him required a gread deal of bug fixing and collaboration with tech art. Bigglesworth's eye laser is meant to be a Dungeon Crawler Carl reference (a book series the art team has been obsessed with, but I have not read before being assigned to work on it, haha). It was great fun to get to do a cutesy, cat-filled effect. Fun fact: the paw burn on impact is based on my own cat's paw pad!
